July 4th Party

We had a fun July 4th. My aunt and uncle, Kevin & Claire, and their kids came from Phoenix and so my mom and brother and sister and their kids came to our house. We had a barbecue and my aunt made marshmallow shooters for everyone to decorate and we had a fight in our front yard. It was a mess but was sooooooo much fun. It was an awesome day!!!

Asher started EATING solids

I started Asher on rice cereal last week and he just loves it. He cries if I don't keep putting the spoon in his mouth quickly. He is so much fun!

Pictures from last week . . . .

We road our bikes to the park by our house. My mom kept Asher. I pulled Alicia in the trailer. I was proud of myself. I was worn out when I got home though. It is the way to go because we got there soooo much faster than walking.

Sterling lost his second tooth. This time he didn't swallow it. He was pretty excited to have the tooth fairy come.

Ryan and his brother took their boys up to Park City to ride the Alpine Slides. They had a blast. I stayed home and gave Alicia and Asher a nap. Life will be so different when we don't have kids napping. Kids are so much happier when they have naps so I'm quite obsessive with schedules.

Asher turned five months old on Monday. He is growing up so fast. Last week he started rolling onto his tummy. The second I lay him on his back he rolls over to his tummy. He just can't roll back over. He is so funny.

Mom, why do you keep taking pictures of me?

For Father's Day we were going to go up the canyon (Ryan's favorite place) for a barbecue. Well Ryan took Gabe to Urgent Care that day and he has strep throat. So me, Gabe and Asher stayed home. Ryan went up with his brother and their kids. They seemed to still have a nice time.

I watched Maddi and McKay and the kids had a lot of fun. They especially liked eating otter pops!

We were at my mom's house and the kids were playing behind her living room couch. I had my camera so I passed Asher to Sterling and took a picture. Aren't they precious!!!

As a family we went to see Kung Fu Panda. It was a funny movie but Alicia couldn't sit still for a minute and Asher was pretty fussy.

Asher's Blessing Day

We had a wonderful blessing day! Ryan gave Asher a beautiful blessing and wonderful family and friends came to stand with Ryan in the circle. After sacrament family and friends came over for a lunch. Thanks to everyone who helped out with Food!!! I wanted Asher to wear the same blessing outfit as Gabe and Sterling. It was a 0-3 month outfit and Asher was 4 1/2 months so it was a bit snug but still worked. Asher looked so adorable and I just love him to pieces. It was a very memorable day.

Asher is Growing!!!

Yesterday Asher went to the doctor for his four-month well visit. He was 14 lbs. 11 oz. (25%), 26 inches (90%) and his head was average. He's growing too fast!

Asher is still a sweet calm baby. He now sleeps at least eight hours between feedings during the night. He is sooooo much fun!

I put a hat on Asher because we were going outside. I thought he looked so adorable in his hat I had to take some pictures.

Alicia LOVES her brother! I'm sure she can bug Asher sometimes but he is very patient with her.

Asher does not like me to lay him on his back anymore when he's awake. He strains to pull up his head when I do. So I pulled out the play disc that all our kids have used. He just loves it.

Sterling and Gabriel have a lot of fun playing with Asher. Asher is getting older so he responds to them now. They were playing a game where in these pictures where they would lean back and Asher would copy them. They were laughing hysterically. They did it over and over and kept laughing until Asher was done with the game. It was so cute.
