The boys Backpacking trip

Ryan took Gabe and Sterling backpacking in the Uintas over labor day weekend. They ended up staying one night and hiking about six miles. They had a great time!

Sterling got his wolf

We finally made it to pack meeting so Sterling could get his wolf.

Asher's First Day of Preschool

Asher starts kindergarten next year so he was so excited to start pre-school this year!

First day of school

Gabe started 6th grade. He loves his teacher, Sra. Prince. Sterling started 4th grade. He likes his teachers, Sra. Luiz and Sr. Smithee. Alicia started 1st grade and dual immersion. She is enjoying school but not all the homework. Her teachers are Sra. Vasquez and Mrs. Jorgensen.

Lake Powell

Ryan took the kids to Lake Powell without me this year. They had a wonderful time! Asher and Alicia skied, Gabe got up on the wakeboard. Sterling worked on getting up on the wakeboard. Ryan did a great job with the kids. The only thing he didn't do was take the camera anywhere. Here are some cute pictures of the kids taken inside the houseboat.

Sterling's 9th Birthday

Sterling had a great 9th birthday. He had to go to a Real SL game!

He got awesome trucks to his skateboard he got last year.

His grandma got him a bunch of drawing supplies.

And he had to go to Texas Roadhouse and eats ribs for dinner.

Asher playing t-ball

Asher loved playing t-ball this summer. His awesome friend, Kyler, was on the team and his dad was the coach. Asher looked so adorable in his baseball hat!

Sweet baby Garak

Sweet baby Garak passed away on July 29, 2012. I am grateful for the time I spent with my dear friends little Garak. I was honored to spend time with him! Asher took this picture several months ago when Garak was spending some time with me at my house.

Alicia was also close with Garak so she was able to go to Garak's house with me and spent time with him while he was home on hospice.

Coming home from Seven Peaks

We weren't able to go to Seven Peaks as much this summer. The few times we did the kids had a blast. We were all exhausted when we left.

Asher was excited to play soccer like his brothers do. He wasn't totally into it but still felt cool!

Last Day of School

The kids were ready for summer vacation. They all had wonderful teachers. Alicia didn't want to end kindergarten and was really going to miss Ms. Littlefield.

Gabe thought Sr. Smithee was awesome!

Sterling enjoyed Sra. Govers but was ready for a break.

The kids got their annual end of the year candy bar posters.

We also went to see Dr. Seuss' The Lorax movie and had a good time.

Hiking up AF Canyon

We went hiking up American Fork Canyon last weekend. The kids had a wonderful time running free all over the place. It was beautiful and we can't wait to go back.
