CARVING PUMPKINS!!!

Last night we carved pumpkins. We all had a great time. Asher was not very happy that I wouldn't let him eat the pumpkin pieces so he watched Baby Einstein. When his pumpkin was carved he loved taking off the lid and checking out what was inside. Alicia had fun coloring her pumpkin with a pink marker while I cut out the face in her pumpkin. Gabe and Sterling spent a long time working on their pumpkins. They did a really good job!!!

Primary Halloween Party

This past Saturday we went to the Primary Halloween Party. Asher needed a nap so he stayed home with Ryan. Gabe dressed up as a ninja, Sterling as Batman and Alicia as Raggedy Ann. Alicia kept pulling her braids and lost both of her ribbons. Sterling kept pretending to fly. Gabe kept taking the ninja mask on and off his mouth. They're funny kids but they are so dang cute. The kids had a lot of fun. Next is trick-or-treating!!!

Asher is nine months old!!!

I took Asher to his nine month well visit this week. He is 15 lbs 11 oz (-3%) and 27.5 inches (25%). They were worried because he's been loosing weight. He's doing good though. He is standing up on everything now. I hope he doesn't start walking to soon!

Our first day of UEA!!!

To keep the kids busy on their first day off (yesterday) I thought we would make some halloween crafts (thanks for the great idea Mikelle). The boys had a lot of fun. Gabe was very thorough and Sterling was very fast.






I could only get Alicia to color a little on her pumkin picture.



I put Asher in his My First Halloween outfit and he was cute like always.

We got Yuki and Kuma today!!!

Ryan and the boys picked up Yuki & Kuma today. They are beautiful dogs. I had forgotten how big Yuki he. He is such a sweet dog though. Alicia was scared of him at first because he's bigger then she is but got used to him very fast because he's so mellow. Kuma is so flippen adorable. She is so soft and lovable. It's hard to believe she will be as big as Yuki is soon. She sleeps a lot because she's only eight weeks old. The kids had so much fun with the dogs. I did too. I just fell in love. I was worried about them being cold outside so I had to check them before bed and they are perfectly warm and snuggly. We've got a lot more work now but they're great buddies.

What we've been doing lately . . . .

The boys (Gabe, Sterling, Conner, Brandt, Tanner & Landon) found a garden snake between the Norman's big rocks. YUCK!!! They were sooooooo excited. Dave came over and caught it and put it in a fish tank. The boys and the girls (Alicia & Addison) loved watching the snake.





Ryan took Gabe and Sterling on the Father & son's overnight. They stayed in the tent trailer with the Emmett boys. They had a great time.





For family night we went to Classic Skating with my brother and his family. It was great. Gabriel got Roller Blading down well, Sterling rode around on his scooter, Alicia was very persisitant at skating and also rode in the stroller some and Asher loved riding around in the stroller and looking up at the lights. It was a great memory.








Sterling, Alicia & Asher hanging out in the afternoons this week when Gabe was at school. They're so dang cute.
