My Funny Girl @ Asher's Birthday Cake

In pre-school last week Alicia and the three boys in her class were playing with play food. So Alicia told the boys "Only I can play with the food because I am a girl and I am perfect". She is a character!

Asher had a great birthday. I'm slow at posting this. He absolutely loved eating his cake. We took it away after he'd eaten about half of it.

Asher is One Tomorrow

Asher will be one tomorrow. His first year has seemed to have gone by so fast. To think he spent his first two weeks of life in the NICU.

Now he has so much energy he's into EVERYTHING. Thank goodness he takes two two-hour naps a day. He's into every drawer or cupboard he can get into and thinks I should help him walk around all day. He's so much fun and happy. He's a joy to have in our family.

Asher love to play with this toy. It is so funny that he can hit the balls down with the hammer.

My Princess is Three

Alicia turned three years old today. She is so much fun and is trouble with a capital T. I love her to pieces. Last night I was sad thinking how quickly she is going to grow up and not be my little girl anymore.

Alicia had her first day of pre-school today on her birthday. She has been so excited to go to school and have homework too! She acted shy when I dropped her off but her Liz said she wasn't shy and had a great time.

In the afternoon Alicia's two best-friends, Addy & Brooke came over. All the girls dressed up as Snow White. They were so adorable. They had fun playing and eating and coloring.

Alicia wanted chicken nuggets for dinner so everyone went to McDonalds for dinner by our house.

Later that night family came over for cake and ice cream. Alicia had a princess cake and got some cool presents.

It was past Alicia's best time so I got her ready for bed. She asked if she could play with her doll house a little longer and I said she could. I checked on her a little while later and she had taken off her new doll's socks and shoes and got in bed with her doll and went right to sleep by herself. She was worn out.

Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids, looking adorable in their Christmas pajamas, were excited to see what Santa left them. They were all so sweet and thankful.

After breakfast we opened family gifts. Asher loved his ball toy even though it didn't work. Later Ryan took it apart and fiddled around with the wires and it worked, YEAH!

For dinner and presents we WALKED over to my mom's house. We had a wonderful time. We had our traditional "English crackers" and had to wear our hats we got in them. Unfortunately the dinner picture is missing my sister-in-law, Angie, and niece, Maddi, because Angie was taking the pictures and Maddi was helping.

Our family Nativity

I always love when we get the kids together and they act out the Nativity while my mom reads it from the scriptures. Sterling was Joseph, Maddi was Mary, Asher was baby Jesus, Gabriel was Angel Gabriel and a shepherd, Cameron was a shepherd, Alicia was an Angel, and Bryton was a wise man. As my sister said "the nativity is the neatest and funnest part of Christmas".

Pictures before church the Sunday before Christmas. Aren't they adorable!!!!
