Alicia had her 5th birthday this month. We decided she could get her ears pierced when she turned five. Alicia was so excited and determined she was going to do it. I took her the day before her birthday. I tried to talk her out of it there but she wanted it done. I was very nervous. She cried but it only lasted a minute.
Here is her before ...
and after she gets her ears pierced.
We went to Chick Filet for dinner with family on her birthday. Alicia wasn't feeling good but was excited anyway.
I took Alicia and Asher with their friends, Brooke and Payton, to Tangled. We went for Alicia's birthday. It was cute.
And today Alicia had her friend birthday party. It was a barbie party. The girls decorated a purse, played pass the purse, Puzzler Barbie, What is Barbie missing, and made bracelets. It was a lot of fun.

Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We enjoyed spending time thinking of Jesus' birth and being with family. I also loved buying my kids presents that I knew they would love.
Gabe and Sterling both got a Nintendo DSI and they thought they were dreaming.
Alicia got a Barbie Doll house that was bigger then her.
Asher got some Geo trax trains and spent hours playing with them.

Nativity
Sterling (Joseph) and Maddi (Mary) were serious.
Alicia (angel) played the part very well and Mckay (shepherd #1) and Asher (shepherd #2) were enjoying the sheep.
What an adorable shepherd Asher is!
Cooper (shepherd #3) was very distracted by this guitar.
Cameron and Gabe (Wise Men) were helpful with the younger kids.
This is the best group picture I took.

La Posada
Last night Gabe and Sterling had their Spanish Immersion Christmas program. I think they are so adorable. Gabe fought me about wearing his Christmas sweater but in the end he wore it for me. They both sang Christmas songs in Spanish and did a great job!
Our first Snowmobiling Trip
A few weekends ago we went to my dad's cabin in Fairview and went on our family's first snowmobiling trip. I was a bit stressed about it but the kids had a great time. We are ready to do it again.
First Snowman this Year
