Our cabin trip . . .

Last weekend we went up to my dad's cabin in Fairview. It was nice to be away from home and outside, but not have to sleep in a tent.

We went on walks. Don't they all look cute walking down the trail. It was just beautiful there.

The kids would have been happy riding the four-wheeler constantly.

Asher would yell when Ryan left without him and would run after him. The other kids were good at taking turns.

The kids looked so cute ready for bed. They were up way too late and of course didn't sleep in any.

Talk about beautiful. Gabe posing for picture.

Asher had a blast outside in the mountains. He was busy, busy, busy.

Here, on a walk, we are checking out a deer that wasn't that far from us.

July 4th

In the morning we went to he Provo parade. It was awesome. We got a great place to watch in the shade. The kids had so much fun and got a little of treats thrown at them.

Then we went Grandpa's house to swim and have a barbecue.

Asher loved wearing goggles and would get mad at me if I tried to take them off.

Gabe and Sterling had a blast in the pool. They didn't want to get ouit.

Alicia was also all over the place, just loving being in the pool.

My adorable nephew, Cooper, just kicking back.

Family Hike

We recently took the kids up American Fork Canyon and went on a hike. It was great fun being outdoors and enjoying the fresh air.

Gabe and Sterling playing city soccer

The boys had a lot of fun playing soccer. The season ended the beginning of June. Now Gabe is playing competitive soccer and Sterling practices with him. It keeps them busy. They're good boys.

Ryan was in his first triathlon this last Saturday. It was Provo and he finished it in 1 hr. 27 min. He swam 1/2 mile (19 min 26 sec) in Utah Lake, biked 12 miles (38 min 18 sec) and ran a 3.1 miles (25 min 21 sec). He did awesome, of course. Gabe and I went with to watch and we were very proud of him.

New pictures finally . . .

Last month our computer blew up. It had something to do with Gabe vacuuming, the computer being on, a USB cord laying on the carpet, and static electricity. So we bought a new computer and so I can actually get my pictures off the camera. So here are pictures I've taken since the post.

We planted our first garden this year. The kids were very helpful. It's pretty neat seeing it grow. We love to check on it and see how it's doing. I hope we get some good vegetables.

Gabe had his first spanish immersion dance festival. His class did a song and a dance. He was not into the dancing part at all. He has had a great year and loved his teacher, Sra Duran. She is awesome.

Sterling had a kindergarten graduation. It was really cute. The kids sang songs and then had a ceremony. Sterling loved kindergarten. He took off with reading and is ready to start 1st grade.

Alicia had her pre-school celebration. Liz is such an awesome pre-school teacher. Alicia loves her and wants to know when school is going to start again.

Asher loves to put on hats. Over the last month I've tried to get a picture when he has a new hat on. He will be seventeen months in two days. He is so happy and fun.

Last week Ryan cut Gabes hair. He had a lot of fun and made his hair a piece of art.
